Meet the Artist
David honors his heritage by living his everyday life with deep reverence for the teachings of his ancestors. He embraces the Lakota traditions and continues to learn and grow in the ways of his people. It is through his participation in Lakota ceremony and the crafting of drums that he shares these traditions with others.
The Drum is the embodiment of the heartbeat. It is the rhythm of Mother Earth and the human heart. The Voice in ceremonial song opens the throat to move energy through the entire body, to the level of spirit.
